Can that be done?
If you want to be penalised by Google,which i have been, for restricting too much via robots.txt... then I guess you can try that one.
My website dropped off google like a stone when I tried to fix things by restricting that many urls.
Pretty clear robots is only for a few fixes, not ones as large as this.
My home page isn't even included in the google index anymore, it's been dropped.
Since I have just 2 pages listed as duplicate content, and 94 already blocked by robots.txt,which is already too many, I can't add another 60 pages. It's pretty clear I'm being penalised for having too many, so an extra 60 isn't a minor thing. I can fix the 94 but have no way to get rid of the others.
