thanks. that made the "comments" link pop up, but the link now points to: http://%7bpermalink%7d/#disqus_thread ... which obviously is a dead link. what do i need to change from here?

Please check the Tumblr integration page again. It should be updated.

Sorry - still having a little bit of trouble. Everything seems to be working fine now, except the number of comments isn't showing up even though I inserted the code for that to work. It's just showing up as "Comments (View)"

We updated the instructions for Tumblr recently. Please go back to "Redo Integration" and have another go at it.

Having an issue with the comments box not showing up on bdarfler.com (bdarfler.tumblr.com). If I click on the permalink for a post I find a link at the bottom that says "Discuss this topic on Disqus." pointing to bdarflerdotcom.disqus.com but no comments box. After much searching I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I have tried "reinstalling" it a few times just to make sure I didn't mess anything up but no luck.
