I lovedthe 'Verify My Post' button but it takes me around 3 tries to get it right the first time. First it automatically takes me to a pop-up to register while giving me another link to click to 'Login'..which is annoying as a registered user (maybe provide two different options?). I click that link and am given a window to put in my username and password. I fill that in and submit it and then it tells me to provide a name..which I suspect means the original fields on the site that's now blacked out. So then I hit cancel to go back to that field and fill it out with my registered name. Then it works. Is it just me?

Re: The Login Page?

I prefer the "verify login" popup login box (type your comments, check the verify box) over the redirect of sending you to the Disqus page to login and then sending you back. Although I did wish it at least kept my email address through to the popup window so I wasn't having to type it twice.

Re: The Login Page?

I found that, for many cases, many people enjoy those two options residing on the same page. Whether or not this is the appropriate case is yet to be seen.

We're still playing with it and it looks like people are responding positively to the latest tweaks (according to stats). Heads up much, much appreciated though. We now have 2 official votes for "annoying." Let's see where this heads. ;)
