Can you give me a link to the plugin you are using with Disqus? Keep in mind
we are developing this feature as well.

    It's here - http://txfx.net/code/wordpress/subscribe-to-com...

It puts a "Notify my of follow up comments via email" checkbox on the page. Disqus hides this though. BTW, it works with IntenseDebate.

I agree that compatibility with the subscribe to comments plugin for WordPress would be good. I also would like a way to re-enable this now that disqus is my comment system. If you make this feature native to Disqus, all the better.

Would love to have the "Notify via email on new comments" feature as part of Disqus. Its absence keeps me from using the plug-in on my sites.

This feature is coming out soon. =)

I hope so! I wait anxiously.

Any idea of when "soon" is?
  • Tristan · 6 months ago
Yeah, when will this be implemented?
  • Daniel Ha · 6 months ago
Probably within the next day or so.
  • snekse · 6 months ago
    Awesome. Glad to hear.
  • Tristan · 6 months ago
I think I see this feature there now! Is it true!?
  • Giannii · 6 months ago
    Very soon. =)

I'm excited to know when too, obviously it'll be posted in the new updates so everyone, relax they'll make it happen.

But for now DisqUS is still my fav and the best commenting system

I would like to disable this feature unless there is a opt-in-mechanism implemented.
