The Disqus Blog: Strange load page problem in WordPress

    Hi Morten,

    Sorry for the issues. Can you provide the following:

    a) The page URL
    b) Your browser/OS
    c) Verify that it still persists

    The error is the same for every URL (I think, - it's been persistent for
    many posts now). Tested it again on our oldest post. Upon saving the
    comment, I get the following :

    Browser Popup error box :

    "Internet Explorer kan ikke åbne Internetstedet
    http://www.kaplak.com/blog/2007/12/15/exploring...

    handlingen blev afbrudt"

    In translation :

    "Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet location
    http://www.kaplak.com/blog/2007/12/15/exploring...

    the action was cancelled/aborted"

    Pressing OK sends one to an empty browser screen with blue text standard
    error saying "Internet Explorer cannot show the website"
    Browser is IE7 and OS is Windows XP Home Edition.

    I'm looking at your page and the error may be coming from the scripts
    in between the tags:
    <!-- start good stuff -->
    <!-- end experiment good stuff -->

    Internet Explorer gives that error when something is being appended to
    the page before the page has finished loading. The script you have
    running there may be interfering with how Disqus works.

    Can you verify?

    <embarrassed>I tried deactivating the plugin from which this code came, and it solved the problem. should have tested this before coming to you.</embarrassed>

    Installed a new WordPress plugin for our Twitter feeds which have no problems with Disqus (in fact, it's even better). Here's the link in case others run into the same problem :

    I am having an identical problem, with IE 7 - same error message. Doesn't seem to happen with Firefox though. I'm a bit of a n00b so I'm not sure what scripts or plugins might be the cause.. I'm hesitant to disable any just yet...

    I am currently integrating the latest Disqus into our WordPress blog v2.7.1

    During testing on IE6 and IE7, we found that IE will prompt an "operation aborted" alert for an unreached URL whenever there is a Disqus popup:
    "Use your existing commenter profile",
    "Thanks for posting!" or
    "Comment awaiting approval by a moderator"

    This happens in Disqus official blog here.

    I got similar problem and I can not place any comments in wordpress blogs. And I am also looking for the particular solution
