I am currently integrating the latest Disqus into our WordPress blog v2.7.1

During testing on IE6 and IE7, we found that IE will prompt an "operation aborted" alert for an unreached URL whenever there is a Disqus popup:
"Use your existing commenter profile",
"Thanks for posting!" or
"Comment awaiting approval by a moderator"

This happens in Disqus official blog here.

After click OK for the alert, it will redirect to an unreached site.

Is there any solution or patch for that ?

i loged a comment today showing my oposition to this self help web site and it was promptly erased less than two hours after i posted it these people do not want you to know how hard it realy is to midigate your own loan modification they just want to sell you a book or something nothing is free WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!

I wanted to draw your attention to another issue - I've just noticed my second spam comment from a user within Disqus - this individual has been adding an identical (not promotional) piece of text in dozens of Disqus-powered blogs, with a link to a Free Satellite 'blog'.

I had another a few days ago which linked to a ferry web site with a destination mentioned in my blog. Again, the text was not a promotional piece or offensive, but it was a generic statement that could be made on any blog.

These may not be 'bots' but they are certainly not genuine commentators. You may wish to look at pattern / timing of comments, and look for repetition patterns within a users' comments within your anti-spam regime to keep the quality of Disqus high.

I'm not seeing any problems with FireFox, but there's a severe performance regression in Konqueror -- maybe the disqus people can try their code in a wider variety of web browsers?
