If you use the Javascript implementation, it would be ideal to have
search engines index the content here since Javascript isn't handled
properly.

thanks. I intend to use the api, but as I mentioned that will cause dup problems since you don't block the comments from being indexed over here as well

so you are saying you'll robots.txt or meta nofollow my comments here on Disqus? sounds like it, I'm just surprised you'd do that on a case by case basis?
