Just uploaded the plug-in and activated it on rexblog.com
Everything else appears to be working, but if there are no comments on a post, there is not a link that indicates "no comments" or "zero comments" (the way it does when using default WordPress comments). I'm referring to the Home (main? index?) page, not the Permalinked individual post -- there, the Disqus box is clearly displayed.)
We've tried the suggestion in FAQ for when the wrong number of comments appear and that did not seem to work. Any suggestions?

same happens for me. I've tried what was in the FAQ but couldn't get it to work. -
Guys, are you referring to this in the FAQ?
http://disqus.com/help/#faq-17
You have verified that footer.php contains that line of code? -
we verified that wp_footer or something like that was in the footer. we are not using default templates. what is in the wp_footer include file that is referenced?
-
A block of Javascript is in wp_footer.
You can enter the Javascript manually:
1) Go to http://disqus.com/integrate/
2) Select General javascript integration
3) Do step #3 -
Correction - It doesn't show up even if there IS a comment.
