I don't know if the word is another g.o.p. (group of paranoids) pathetically immature attempt at humor.

I've never seen a group of people who go into childish frenzy because the rest of the country rejected your desire for a fascist type of country who want to allow giant corporations to own our government.

Unlike you I do believe in individual rights, which is what my ancestors fought in every war we had in this country starting from the Revolutionary War. They didn't fight to allow these corporations to take over and run things, but chimpy/shooter did. They ever made it possible for our government to have people arrested without any rights. Including American citizens.

Now if that isn't a form of fascism than Germany never had any Nazis in the 30's and 40's.

You know lyris, I would guess you to be either a 20 something or at least young 30s. Today's polictics isn't even about Dems or Reps, and I think you need to go back and do some history research and as you brought up Hitler, take a stab at that too. Obama, from beginning to now is mimicing Hitler's exact process. America is young and was built on capitalism. Now, you talk about your ancestors fighting for individual rights. Can you define those rights? Corporations weren't taking over the country. They were conducting business. The stock market was conducting business. But now, Obama and Governement are conducting those businesses. And with National Health Care, (blog with people in Canada, UK, the Netherlands on this one and health RIGHTS) the Clean Air Act (Cap and Trade...and really, really research that one when you talk about rights, start with Al Gore and his Generation Investment Management LLC$$$$$); if this thing passes the Senate not only will you not have rights you'll $$$ dearly for not having those rights. I suggest you really start googling some key words there bud and brush up on your history.

Only my spirit is young. I've been on this earth quite a while, possibly longer than you. And if have read much about our history both American and the rest of the world. I also studied my mother's side of my family tree.

Look again at our Constitution, Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence. No where is there mentioned corporations who have ruined what our country and made our beautiful nation hated around the world. If you haven't read the last two books John Perkins had written, I suggest you do. "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man" and "The Secrete History of the American Empire." They tell the whole truth about what's happened to us.

President Obama has enormous piles of manures let behind by others going back generations, but much of it by chimpy (geo. h. w. bush) He also has to deal with the legislative branch who contain many whose pockets are lined by the corporations.

As I said when I first posted this topic, I don't agree with everything the president has done or plans to do, I didn't expect to agree with everything he's doing and I don't, but I shutter to think what mcchimp would be doing, or not doing dragging us down further into the mess created by the gop and some Democrats who prostitute themselves for the corporations.

I'm so sick of hearing and reading free enterprise. Free for whom? Look what they've done to us. We may never recover, but at least Obama is trying to undo much of their destruction.
