I noticed this is now an option in the Settings portion of the control panel under options.

Two part question:
1) How will this work with Disqus?
2) How do you obtain an API?

Yes, that'd be a great addition, especially for those of us who use Blogger and are stuck with Friend Connect.

Yeah, Facebook Connect support would be killer. Most of the commenters on my site are people who are most active on Facebook. If I was running on Wordpress, I'd be mildly tempted to switch over to the Facebook Connect plug-in (http://www.sociable.es/2008....

But I love Disqus, mainly because you guys keep on top of these sort of things, meaning I don't really have to worry about figuring out how to properly integrate new social technologies into my CMS myself.

I second the need for this feature. Someone already developed a wordpress fbc app. You guys need to be there too.
