- Thx for reply.
- Of course. WP Supercache is a must-have. But I never had problems before 2.0.
- Thanks for the report. We'll take further into this.
- We are reworking pagination at the moment and hope to have it restored soon.
- Hi guys. This is on our to-do list, though it's a rarely requested feature. It's going to take a little rejigging but we will get to it.
DISQUS Blog
The official Disqus forum. This is the place to receive beta support and offer suggestions.
I just installed the Disqus WordPress plug-in on my blog. I am using WordPress 2.5 self-hosted.
I chose the option to have Disqus "Replace all entries with no comments (including future posts)".
It opened up comments on posts that I have closed for commenting.
This needs to be fixed ASAP before I will reactivate Disqus on my site.

I've uploaded a patched version of the 1.04 plugin here: http://media.disqus.com/disqus-wordpress-1.04+c... which will keep closed comments when using the option "Replace all entries with no comments".

Now how much longer until WordPress comment importing and Gravatar support? ;-)

2) Gravatar support is a-go! Check it out.

For example, WordPress 2.5 will match the Gravatar as long as the person enters their e-mail that matches a Gravatar registration. I have a feeling that many of the commenters on my site won't register with Disqus... at least not initially. Will their Gravatar show up by merely putting in their e-mail address when leaving a comment?
Also, has the option to allow blog owners the ability to require an e-mail address for someone to leave a comment been implemented yet? I don't see the option, but I believe you said it was something you were working on.

Yes, it works for all commenters, whether or not they are registered
with Disqus.
Also, it already is a requirement to leave an email address to leave a
comment.
I hope that helps!

You can close comments from your Disqus dashboard: http://disqus.com/dashboard
We are working on updating the plugin to reflect WordPress settings.
