Is it possible that the 2k unsynced comments are spam comments? We don't import those into the Disqus database. I've added you as a translator for Lithuanian, so you should be able to access the interface at http://disqus.com/translate/. (Notify translation@disqus.com when your work there is ready.)

Thank You, Andrew for Your answer. I really don't know whether WP includes spam into total count, or not. Let's hope it does. I did not track any particular missing comment, so I'm assuming all of them transferred successfully.

And thank You very much for an opportunity to correct the translation (although when I click the link, I get the page telling I am not in any of the translation groups). This may get you some more users from my country.
