I wrote a hack for our mobile site that inserts a comment from a form -- but you can't use Disqus profiles with it :(

Your average mobile browser can't handle much in the way of Javascript. They're best with single pages. So for any mobile browser, we present a full unified page to the browser -- replete with an html form at the bottom offering people the ability to post a reply. This form is a hardcoded version of the dynamic one that Disqus normally presents to full desktop browsers. So we can now receive mobile comments -- and our audience are thus a little happier. But logging into Disqus and using it with your mobile browser? Very challenging because of the mobile browser capabilities. For instance, on some devices, you have to continually enter your Disqus username and password all the time.

@daniel - i can confirm now that commenting from the native W610i browser works fine, i can see the form to comment and everything :)

Opera mini is the faulty bastard :=)

the widgets provided by disqus is the only way i can see comments on my website, even the tabs works great, but i can never reply to the comments, same on my sweetcron install, comments are not showing, the "add comments" is not a link..it's just text

We are working on better support for Opera Mini. At the moment, it
doesn't seem to be showing correctly

yes i'm having strange issues, i can only see "powered by disqus" and "view all comments", i don't see comments, and i can't even see the form to login to then make new comments.

well this is on my sony ericsson W610i on OperaMini 4

Any of the iPhone god outhere : can you comment on blogger blog wich use the Disqus comment system ?
