After further read on, I felt that it’s very useful to users who want to synchronize plaxo with their blog. This allows them to handle comments easily.

Re: Connecting Conversations with Disqus and Plaxo

Without fragmented comments, is best for the blogger to keep track on the comments that have been posted irregardless of whichever platform the commenters wrote their remarks. No double comments will appear for both. Great integration.

Re: Connecting Conversations with Disqus and Plaxo

The collaboration is simply awesome! I'd never heard of Plaxo until this very day, but I had caught onto FriendFeed in recent weeks, and very much like it. I'll have to check out the former tomorrow (perhaps when my brain isn't already in danger of exploding from info overload). Thanks Disqus-ers :)

Re: Connecting Conversations with Disqus and Plaxo

awesome

Re: Connecting Conversations with Disqus and Plaxo

Plaxo is supposed to be setting up something for Tumblr users too. Disqus-Plaxo collaboration comes as a sigh of relief for the poor bloggers who deserve to be aware of “Who Thinks What Aspect” on their blog. I feel it is the first step towards producing constructive bloggers.
I really like your opening paragraph. It provides a sense of satisfaction to the bloggers who can now be aware of the discussion happening on the web, over their blog
Disqus is a bloggers paradise and Plaxo now serves as a host to this paradise with its ability to get back to the blog with fragmented comments via Disqus. This sounds quite interesting and the synchronization of both is just mind-blowing, at least for the bloggers!

Re: Connecting Conversations with Disqus and Plaxo

I deleted all my test comments yesterday just by clicking the admin button on my dashboard, not only does a remove option come up but the email and ip address of the commenter are there as well.
Not sure about deleting in the 'different arenas' yet as I'm still new to it all.

Re: Connecting Conversations with Disqus and Plaxo

Nice one! :) Keep it up!

Re: Connecting Conversations with Disqus and Plaxo

I just installed disqus yesterday and have been using plaxo for a couple of months. I started out with the Plaxo service in the "bad" old days when Plaxo was considered a spammer. I loved the idea of aggregating all my disparate contacts from Yahoo, G-Mail, AIM, mobile phone and local apps into one place, and then keeping these sources all synced up. Best of all my contacts could simply change their email address or mobile number and my data would be up to date. Now they're moving in to the realm of all encompassing social aggregator. Plaxo Plus allow me to see what my contacts are doing on the web: Flickring, blogging, Tweeting, etc. (E.G. FriendFeed before there was a FreindFeed.)

I applaud them for going beyond contact aggregation and seeing the big picture.

Re: Connecting Conversations with Disqus and Plaxo

oh yes, i use it already- it would just be nice if it were not so optional, if yo know how i mean
